[My Collection] Etude House Pink Skull Eyeshadow, Twin Shot LipsxTint & Sun Blind Cushion

I wanted to do this for some time now, like sharing my purchase and such and no matter how small the purchase is. It is because I may or may not review the products in the future but I want to let my readers know that I'm still here although I'm busy and not posting any reviews. So small posts like this can make this blog livelier and not dead ^^

Anyway, this is like a small purchase I asked my friend to buy while she was in Korea back in July (too bad I can't go with her because of my new semester of study just begun T_T) and I listed a few products for her to buy and she bought everything correctly with all the little details though she aren't good with makeup and such. Thanks to her, I can get the Pink Skull eyeshadow with discounted price, yeay~ ^^

There are a few like tools in my haul but idk why it's not in the picture (since I have this picture for some time now) but indeed it is a small haul since I've used up a lot of money for new semester T_T
FYI, I didn't buy the lip tint myself, it was the giveaway prize that @etude_official sent to me after winning their insta giveaway and honestly, I didn't expect to win at all since.. you know, there's a lot of followers who did the same. Originally, it is suppose to be one etude's bracelet and one lip tint but they changed the prize because of the problem with customs(?) but I was happy either way :D

The eyeshadows is in No.1 Lovely Skull and I know a lot preferred the No.2 version, Punky Skull. The No.2 shadows are almost similar to their Blooming Rose palette which I already have so I get this one instead. It's sooooo beautiful! No kidding

The pencil like-type is the new 3-1 eyebrow pencil which is the combination of brow highlight, brow pencil and mascara. The highlight didn't work for me though ;(

The white-blue cushion is the Sun Blind cushion, a cushion-type sunscreen and I LOVE IT! To bad that it was very little in volume and finish up so quick for me, almost dry by now ;(

Thank you for reading :)

[REVIEW] Kiehl's Bestseller Holiday Box

Hey guys!
I was stressing out on studies so I decided to do another blog post..lol
Anyway, I wasn't so sure what title should I put for this post because individual name might be too long and I choose the word "best seller" since all of these three products are definitely Kiehl's best seller products!

The box is however is not for sale I guess(?) since I received this as a part of gifts from Linette Kim when she joined the Kiehl's international team last year. I'm actually not sure how she know me but I'm pretty sure she's a Youtuber that I always watched (correct me if I'm wrong). I'm grateful enough for the gifts since I've been wanting to try Kiehl's products for so long!

Anyway, feast your eyes with these luxurious red box!

Thank you Linette, I'm crying T_T

The first product that I saw is this Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate! I've been seeing tons of raved for this product and honestly I could say that all that raving are the truth! I used to skip face oil because I'm prone to breakout very easily with heavy concentration cream or oil. However, as far as I'm using this for a almost a year now, I could say that I didn't have a single breakout with this. The oil doesn't smell weird like argan oil and I could say that my skin looks even on the next morning I woke up. Definitely recommending this oil for you to try :)

I actually have finished this eye cream a few months ago and I could say that this is the best eye cream I've ever tried. The cream is thick in consistency and I was actually scared that it might causes oil seed under my eyes since I'm prone to have that whenever I wear something too thick in consistency so I apply this moderately and the next day I woke up, my under eyes is still hydrated! A lot of eye creams will eventually dry when I fall asleep but this eye cream didn't. I think it does have a little scent to it but not too strong and it actually smells nice :D

Out of three products I received, I uses this the least. It's not that I didn't like it but I'm not so sure why I neglect it either. Maybe because I rarely seen dark spots rather than acne on my face so maybe that's why? But I bet if I do those skin examination, I probably have more underneath dark spots that I could ever imagine. I do use this sometimes on my chin especially since I have a little discoloration on that part because of my old acne scars and it is also said to use this on certain part of the face that affected. There's a lemon-y smells(?) to it which is quite noticeable and I didn't dislike it as long as it doesn't smell weird. I'm not sure if this actually works on repairing the discoloration since I didn't see any clear changes on my skin. Probably it's my method that is wrong or maybe the product itself doesn't suit me.

Anyway, thank you for reading. Hope you have a nice holiday!
I need to go back to studying, seriously XD

[REVIEW] Althea Superfood Box!

Hey guys!

It's been a long time isn't it? My last post is in October and honestly my blogging skill is a little rusty now but I decided to spend a little time away from studying for my finals and blog instead :)

As you might have seen that I've posts a ton of Althea review before and you should already knew on how good they were in terms of pricing, shipping and box packaging! Even though I'm not really active since the past months, they are so generous of sending me a few boxes and I feel bad for not doing reviews as soon as possible since they never asked any!

For those who have stayed with Althea for over a year now, you might have known that they launch their beauty boxes recently. One of the theme box is this SUPERFOOD BOX! Basically, this box contain a few Korean beauty products that uses food-based ingredients in their product and by purchasing this box for RM138, you can save a LOT of money rather than buying individual products.

These are the products that you'll get in this box:

However, this box set is out of stock now(Oh noo!) but you can still choose the other beauty box that they have and for holiday 2016, they are four different kinds of beauty box that you can choose!

Visit:

or you can download the ALTHEA APP on Google Play or App Store and use code "MOBFIRST30" and received RM30 off RM100! (Only available for first mobile purchase)

Using whatever backdrop I have with me right now..haha

I...really...love this body mist! It smells really good, not sure if it's smells like Blackberry to me but I will be using this whenever I need something that smells nice on me but not perfume..haha

It feels a little cooling on the skin and the fragrance of the mists will last for hours! Look on how much I've sprayed on considering that I just received this recently.

This cleanser is huge and it only costs RM14 on Althea now! How cheap is that??!
I always stayed with my current face wash and I could say that this face cleanser is like everything to me now. It is soo gentle and thick! I can feel that my skin is brighten on every wash and at the same time it doesn't stripe off my skin's moisture! I can say that this will last really long because I only need a little on every wash.

Sadly I haven't tried this yet since I didn't get a chance to however there's something unique with this toner is that there are white flakes(?)...no no no..not white flakes, my bad. It's like an essence in white color which you need to shake the bottle before using .It was quite similar to COSRX pore minish serum or the OXY Powder lotion where it has those residue at the bottom that you need to shake the bottle before using.

This! Everyone already knew on how good the Innisfree green tea collection and honestly this is just as great. Feels soooo light on the skin and the green tea fragrance is just everything. It gives my skin plenty of moisture since I don't need much because I'm combination to oily and I'm prone to breakout with heavy moisture and this is just perfect!

Can anybody agree with me on how pretty and simple the bottle is? I rarely tried the Korean bath products but I want to say that I'm impressed with this shower gel. The liquid is colorless and it produced lesser foam which means there is less SLS or none at all which I can't confirm for you. It smells really nice and stays on for some time :)

The name "Cool Cool Mon" is already sounds very cute to me and the mask itself feels so nice on the skin! Can you see the tiny black dots in the tube? I thought it would feel gritty but I guess it would just disappear when you smear the mask on your face. The mask itself is very moisturising and when it dries, it doesn't feels tight on the skin until the next day I woke up. A little of this goes a loooong way! It is easy to spread on the face since it is so light! I hope it did slow my aging tho..haha

Awwww, how cute is this thing???! It's the Skinfood Lip Scrub and it's the cutest thing I have now..haha ..I can't tell you the verdict since I just opened it (sorry for this half-assed review) but I really don't have the chance to try it yet T_T I've tried it and honestly I'm not sure if this is what exactly? It feels like tiny sugar but when I try washing it up, there's like a wax-like lip balm feels which drags around when I'm wiping it out...and I didn't like it. The scrubs doesn't do well on scrubbing my lips since my lips forms dead skin cells like a lot!So it doesn't feel enough to remove all of that. The only thing that I like is that it leaves my lips moist after washing.

Surprisingly, I did test this one out for a few times (just look at those ugly plastic pattern..haha)
It smells really strong once you remove the bar from the box, it's like gingery lemon I guess(?)
and the bar is easy to foam up my hair and leaves it squeaky clean. However, I don't like the fact that this makes my hair feels rough after washing if I didn't conditioned it (I'm lazy so that's why)
Later, it will be harder to brush my hair since it will stuck to each other and it feels reaaaaalllllyy dryyy. I don't recommend this to those who are used to shampoo+conditioner type of person since this will basically made your life harder..haha

Anyway, thanks for reading! I'll make sure I'll go through this hellish finals and do a lot more reviews posts soon!

xoxo Mizu

How to Use:
1. After morning or evening facial wash, in the toner and essence stage spread a coin-sized amount lightly on parts with much dead skin cell or blackheads.
2. Spread thinly on the whole face for smooth skin texture(In the usage of cosmetic cotton, clean off by rubbing as if massaging.
3. Avoid under eye area and use sunscreen as well in daylight.

I read so much of good things regarding this product and decided to try it myself. I had a lot of blackheads lately as I forgot to bring my pore brush to college so I'm using this to counter my blackhead.

Originally, I don't really see what's the hype with this since I don't have much blackheads and I don't see much of a difference even though I followed the every instructions I can find online to make this works, lol

However, as of the blackheads starts appearing on my cheeks lately and I tried smearing it onto the whole face day and night, I can finally see what's happening. My blackheads just magically disappears after a few days of wearing it. Of course it doesn't completely disappears as there's probably small areas that I can't reach but for the record, this is already an amazing product.

As I have been using this for some time now, it doesn't tingle anymore as it would when I first used it and it feels a lot more smoother on face.

One tip is that, exfoliating the skin while cleansing will help this product to absorb better. There's also tips online that you should wait like a few minutes-30 minutes for this to absorb and work on your blackhead but honestly, who has the time to wait for 30 minutes until you can apply the next product? I don't. For me, it is enough to wait until it's absorbed and you're free to do the next step on skincare as you wish.

Overall, I would recommend this to everyone who had the blackheads problem. You should try and test which ways is working for you instead of following my instructions. Everyone's skin is different and it should work differently on everyone.

Hope that I'm being a little help here. Thanks for reading :)

[REVIEW] Witch's Pouch Banhana Mascara #01 Sweet Volume

Woop, almost missed it. Missed it, sorry. Since I was awarded with the Top 100 Beauty Blogs, I promised on my facebook page to post a review today. I'm still unsure why I was listed among those awesome bloggers but I'm very happy, not lying 'bout that XD .Anyhoo, before the day ends, I'll do a review post as promised.

I got this Witch's Pouch mascara from Hermo.my while browsing for new mascaras to try. There's two options, volume and length and I always go for volume every time I got a mascara. The price is quite cheap and it looks interesting considering I haven't heard about the brand before and "banhana" supposely referred to "banana" I guess? Let me explain further in the review section below.

Before that, here's a little details about this product:
Brand : Witch's Pouch
Origin : South Korea
Where to buy : Althea.kr

The wand is round and shaped like banana!

Not waterproof, disappear with a gentle rub.

1st pic : Without mascara
2nd pic : First coat
3rd pic : Second coat

I take a look at the name, it surely wasn't "banana" but "banhana" instead. Idk why but it certainly refers to the banana-shaped wand. To be honest, I really like the banana-shaped wand because it covers my eyelash from end to end. Of course not until the inner corner but it feels so nice when my eyelashes are coat evenly.

They had the silicon type of wand which the liquid won't stick onto the brush much and cause mess. It means that it won't overcoat the lashes and causes clump. I can say that it doesn't clump my eyelashes and separate it nicely too.

The mascara also claim to be non smudgeable which is true but it will flakes over time so watch out. I don't get heavy flakes but it is noticeable if you look into the mirror and there's a black flake under the eye and it doesn't look nice.

The mascara is not waterproof as you can see the test I did above however it lasts on quite well before it starts to flakes a little and it hold up my curl well too. It also doesn't have any bad smell to it.

The only downside is that it didn't give me much volume as I wanted and it took a few coats of mascara until I was satisfied with the result. Usually I would do about 4-5 coats to achieve the finish that I wanted.

Overall, I wasn't very disappointed considering that it was pretty cheap to compare with the quality, I could say that it was a good try. The wand is my favourite and the fact that it doesn't cause clump would make me rate it high.

[REVIEW] Banila co Prime Primer Photo Layer Powder #Naked Peach

Hello guys!
This review suppose to be posted back then but I always forgot it every time!haha
However, I wanna say that I've been using this since the first time I got it, which is last December if I'm not wrong. I guess this loose powder is another popular product of Banila co aside from their prime primer and clean it zero balm. I'm in love with it of course because of the packaging..:D

I had a few loose powder before and it's from Innisfree, guess you knew which it is-I had both original and blur version. To be honest I didn't powder all over my face after wearing any cushion or BB because I find it easily caked my makeup however powder are very useful to smooth the lines on top of my eyelid and under my eyes. It lessen the probability of the foundation to crease.

Here are the details of this product.

Brand : Banila co
Origin : South Korea
Product Type : Loose Powder
Color : Naked Peach
Net Weight : 12g
Where to buy : Jolse , Koreadepart , Stylekorean

There are two colors of this powder which are Naked Peach and Pale Pink. When I got the Naked Peach, I thought it would be peachy in color but it looks more like pink to me. Even through the case, it is already visible that it was pink and not peach in color. However, I don't think the color has much function to it since it won't be showing on the face but I do think it give a little tone than normal white powder.

There is no scent to this powder and I can say that the powder texture is very fine, almost similar to the Innisfree No Sebum powder. It controls oil pretty well and what's great is that it prevent crease on my eyelid! It's been some time since I've used any eyelid primer because this powder does its job. I normally will apply this onto my eyelid and under my eyes to prevent creasing. So before applying any eyeshadow or cream shadow, I would put on this powder first and it would make my eyeshadows stays on well considering I had oily eyelid.

However, the downside of this powder is that it would caked up if applied throughout the face especially on oily zones so I would avoid applying this onto my face.

The packaging is nice, it has the jagged sides for twisting but I don't like the face that there are only four holes for the powder to get out of the case and I don't think the cover can be open at all(?) coz I tried but it's not working.

Overall, there are some pros and cons but I still like the powder because it helps prevent my crease on my eyelid :)
