[REVIEW] Althea Petal Velvet Powder

Hello guys! Wow, it's been a while! (I promise there's a new review that I'll be posting next so this sentence won't be as cliche every time I posted a new review with a month apart XD)

So today I'll be reviewing this NEW Althea Petal Velvet Powder from althea.kr and it is also their first ever product! If you see the photos below, you would already guess on how much the powder left, because I've been using it ever since I've gotten it.

This debuting beauty is a translucent powder that sets makeup and leaves behind a silky finish to the touch. Infused with oil from Althea seeds, this powder works to keep sebum production at bay without drying out the skin for a radiant, fresh look, all while giving out a gentle scent. Keep your makeup looking great all day or dust some on to stay shine-free! - excerpt from Althea (althea.kr)

Size: 3g / Price: RM16 / Color: translucent, for all skin types.

Can you see on how much it already left inside?

Came with a super smooth, velvety puff :3

One thing that I like with this packaging is that the "holes" are pretty big if compared to some "popular k-brands" powder and this makes it easier for me to let out the product on the cap and dab the powder from there.

source : althea.kr

When I first test it out, I was surprised on how silky the texture of the powder! I never use a powder that was as smooth as this and I was totally mind blown!

The powder is very lightweight and it was almost translucent in color because even though it is claim as translucent, but if you put a little too much, the white color will show through on the skin, although not much.

There's a little flowery scent too it which the smell is not overpowering and smells really nice! I do notice that using it for some time now has changed the scent a little, which I think it may be cause my mixing of cosmetics.

The powder itself is very easy to apply and spread easily with the puff. I tried both brush and the puff and honestly, the puff did a great job rather than my brush so I like using the puff better.

It does keep the oil away for my oily skin for a few hours, maybe about ~4 hours until I see a little sebum on my forehead and around my nose and so far, it doesn't break me out at all although I sometimes would have it on face for a long day! Be sure to watch out for creasing because it would crease after a few hours especially when the area have crease and sebum.

Overall, I think it was a nice powder and it was so cheap too! They would have this even in the lower price for a discount event sometimes so watch out!

and psssst, do you know that Althea also offered buy 2 and free shipping right now?! It was ridiculous because I would totally broke faster like this XD

Thank you for reading and here's a photo of the box that althea.kr sent to me and just look inside! It's soo cute and smells good too!

[REVIEW] PACKage Float Mask Bundle & Consolation Mask

Hello guys!
Sorry I haven't been posting for some time. I've been to Indonesia for my internship for two months so this post kinda delayed about that long. Anyway, I'll be reviewing this mask bundle sent to me by Q-depot.com as review purposes. If you didn't know, Q-depot.com is a Korean cosmetics online shop that sells particularly Korean cosmetics including Korean skincare and Korean makeup. Check them out because they have over 1000+ products on their site.

They kindly sent me a box of the Float Mask Bundle and three pieces of PACKage Consolation masks which is on of their latest releases (and pssst,..people are lovin' it too!). Previously I've tried the Float face mask and love it so I'm soo excited when they sent me a bunch of PACKage masks :D

So let's start with the consolation mask since I'm most excited by these!

There are three types of the consolation masks which is "Don't Worry - for trouble skin", "Sweet Dream - acne, wrinkles" and "I Love Myself - makeup booster". All of these mask contain 8 Free harmful ingredients. They are pretty much the same with mask fit, which is overall okay however I would like to point out the not wide enough mask. The mask sheet is verryyyy thin which makes it a little tricky to spread it and the essence is quite runny but abundant.

Out of three, I only tried two so far which is "Don't Worry mask" and "I Love Myself mask".

I tried this literally yesterday before wearing makeup and kept my makeup sticks on nicely. There's no scent to the mask however, I find it to be a little sticky once the essence dried. The mask's liquid is is abundant but since it is too liquid-y, it kinds of dripping off everywhere. However, the result is quite nice. I find that my skin does look a little brighter :)

I wore this mask when I had quite a terrible breakout around my cheeks where it hasn't been this irritated for some time and I do find that the mask does lessen the redness and calm the irritation. It does feel a little sticky after the essence dries off.

I leave my unappealing face here then. (Don't Worry mask)

Next is this Float Mask Bundle. In this box, there are 8 Everyday Bouncy - face mask, 8 Melt Me Softly - blackhead nose mask and 1 Monthly New Feet - a feet mask

As you can see, it contains lots of essence until it drips of everywhere..lol
Anyway, there's a little mint scent with this blackhead mask and it feels cool on touch. Honestly I'm a bit skeptical about this blackhead mask since blackhead, you know, is kinda hard to disappear with only a mask, although I don't have that many but I can still see the blackhead after I'm done with the mask but nevertheless, it did brighten my skin which I like. I think this would be great after you extract those things from nose and this would makes your pores smaller.

As I said before, I have tried this mask even before this package and lovin' it. It does feel a little sticky like other PACKage masks and this does have a herbal scent to it. What makes me like it so much is that it would make my face appear brighter.

I haven't tried this yet but I'll update once I do.

Anyway, thanks for reading! I'll make sure to update for those two masks I haven't tried yet but so far, I can conclude that PACKage masks is worth to try especially if you like brighter skin (I have dull skin, that's why). It also free from those nasty ingredients in the market and totally safe for your skin.
Give it a try if you haven't!

[REVIEW] Eraida Beauty ENVIE Liquid Matte

Happy Tuesday~
Today, I'll be reviewing these lip matte from Eraida Beauty. Thank you EB for sending me these cuties! I went in totally (aww) mood when I opened the package and saw this girly purply tin case. It's so ON POINT and already collected 5 pizza ratings from me 😘

There's a totally of 5 colors that have a name on every number;
💖 EL01 Cupid - nude pink
💖 EL02 Tiara - mauvy pink
💖 EL03 Eternal - red with orange hue
💖EL04 Blossom - nude brown
💖 EL05 Queen - chocolate

How cute is that?!

Simple yet slick packaging 👍

You could say that all the colors are pretty much the range of colors that I would try collect for myself except for the "Eternal" color because I'm afraid of bright colors. However, when I first saw this color, right away, it reminds me of the KylieCosmetics "Doll" liquid lipstick which is a color that I secretly would like to try myself. So thank you EB for the chance!

These liquid matte smells so good like chocolate. I feel like I could lick it right away! However, it might not as strong as you think it is so no worries for the overwhelming fragrance :)

Usually liquid lipsticks have different texture because of pigment in colors but I find that these liquid matte is almost identical in formula to each other so each of them perform almost similar on me.

I used all of these colors during Raya celebration and I could tell you my verdict.
Firstly, this does dry your lip if you have a dry lip like mine so it's wise to apply any kind of lip balm or vaseline before applying so that it won't be too dry and it will cause crack later on.

The liquid lipstick dries reasonably in time. It is because I can still layered it up and doesn't cause dragging. However, after it dries, I wouldn't recommend adding layers to it because it will drag the formula.

It last for a good amount of hours if you don't drink nor eating. It does transfer to stuff, for example, if you're drinking, it transfers to the cup. I'm not sure why it does this but at least the color on your lip won't fade.

For light colors like cupid and blossom, there might be a little streaky when applying but you can just add up layers to it and for deeper colors, they applies smoothly without problems.

I would say that the formula isn't thick and very watery and it feels lightweight but it depends on how many layers you put on. One or two layers might still feel lightweight 😊

Thank you for reading!

[REVIEW] Benton Cacao Moist and Mild Cream

Hey guys! Missed me? I'm not totally dead and have been doing microblogging on instagram rather than doing one in blogger. If you still haven't followed me instagram, do so by following my account on @ashihana

This way you'll get the fastest review posted by me. I'm so into microblogging because I find that it is in fact easier for me, no more time consuming editing and you'll get to read basically the summary of all however, those who would love clearer pictures can still read the reviews on my blog :D (although it might take time for me to do one)

Anyway, in today's post, I'll be reviewing this NEW released product by Benton Cosmetics. I was selected as one of the reviewer of the new product and they sent me one to try. I was sooo excited!

So what's GOOD about this cream?
Benton's Cacao Moist and Mild Cream is a lightweight cream made of healthy ingredients. Having a light texture, even a generous amount of the cream does not leave the skin heavy. Cacao extracts and hyaluronic acid help to replenish dry skin, leaving it dewy and vibrant.

Cacao Extract 63% : Rich in polyphenols, which are antioxidants and in minerals, Cacao Extract helps to moisturize and soften skin.

Cacao seed butter 10% : Obtained from the pressed seeds of cacao, Cacao seed butter consists of beneficial fatty acids such as palmitic acid, stearic acid, and oleic acid. It helps to retain moisture.

Ingredients:
Theobroma Cacao Extract (Cocoa) Extract, Theorboma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Water, Sorbitan Olivate, 1,2-Hexandiol, Pentylene Glycol, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Extract, Zanthxylum Piperitum Fruit Extract, Pulsatilla Koreana Extract, Usnea Barbata (Lichen) Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Polyglutamic Acid, Madecassioside, Beta-Glucan, Carbomer, Arginine, Xanthan Gum

Came in a tube that does not released much air. So it won't deflate even if the product is finished.

I'm about halfway of the tube now and might be finishing it sooner because I love this cream!
I would basically avoided creams that say hydration or moisture because most likely it would cause me of having milia because my skin is not good with heavy creams. However, this cream by Benton which targeted all types of skin and it's branded as "LIGHTWEIGHT" won me over.

The cream definitely very lightweight on the skin and at the same time, it gives abundant of moisture! The cream spreads very easily on skin, almost feels like watery and it absorbs well into my skin too.  Although it gives hydration to the skin, it does not feel oily at all no matter how much I applied it on and it also does not leaves any sticky feeling afterwards.

Although I was hoping that the cream would secretly have a chocolate smells in it but unfortunately it does not contain any scent to it which is a win for those who dislike fragrance in their products.

After using it for almost three weeks now, I can say that it doesn't inflamed my face nor it gives me any breakouts and it actually the opposite. I find that my redness are calmer after I applied it on and my skin does feels smoother now. I would recommend this on summer or countries like mine because it is lightweight and does not cause my oily skin any problem. If you're looking for a mild cream with great water-oil balance in it, this is definitely for you.

I would rate this:

Thank you for reading!
